About Taboo Cartridges

Taboo Cartridges started with a simple frustration in the studio. Macaulay, a professional tattoo artist, was tired of the inefficiencies and guesswork that came with traditional cartridge setups. He knew there had to be a better way — something faster, clearer, and built for how artists actually work. That idea became the foundation of Taboo Cartridges.
To bring it to life, he brought in people he trusted most — his sister Georgia and her husband Todd. Combining real studio experience with business, branding, and operational expertise, Taboo Cartridges was built from the ground up as a family-run company with a shared vision: to challenge the norm and create products that genuinely improve the way artists work.

Todd leads the business side of Taboo Cartridges, overseeing operations, strategy, and long-term growth. As Managing Director, he ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while helping scale the company from the ground up.

Georgia

Creative Director & Co-Founder

Georgia is the driving force behind Taboo Cartridges' brand and growth. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for building something different, she focuses on marketing, customer experience, and pushing the company forward.

Georgia is all about challenging the norm and creating a brand that stands out in an industry that often plays it safe.

Macaulay (Mac)

Artist, Product Innovator & Co-Founder

Mac is a professional tattoo artist and the original mind behind Taboo Cartridges. Frustrated with the lack of efficiency in traditional setups, he created the colour-coded system to simplify workflow and eliminate guesswork.

His real-world experience in the studio shapes every product decision, keeping Taboo Cartridges built for artists, by artists.
